 Recently I've had requests for Knitting lessons.  Yes, I can do that   Scarves, are good starter projects.  Sweaters, afghans, hats, socks.  What do you want to learn? Lots of fun stuff to keep you busy or sit in front of the TV and enjoy a quiet evening at home.

I also teach spinning, either drop spindle or using a spinning wheel.  A good magazine to check out for wheels on the market is called "SPIN OFF".  I personally own a Schacht, made in Colorado.  Did you know you can spin lots of stuff  besides wool? Currently I'm spinning camel down, a rich soft brown fuzz.  But what about  cotton, rayon, goat hair, angora (bunny hair), silk, dog hair, cat hair and so it goes.  Here in Florida we can grow our own cotton, although I have, I have deep regard for Eli Whitney for inventing the cotton gin -- picking all those seeds out of the cotton to get it ready for spinning is not fun.  Spinning cotton  is  fun and mixing it with other fibers is fun too.  Then knitting your own hand spun is wonderful and oh the compliments coming your way.
